March ki Baarish: Kisaano ki Mehnat aur Hamari Jeb, Dono Pe Sankat!
North India mein March ka mahina usually harvest ka time hota hai, jab kisaan apni Rabi fasal kaatne ki taiyari karte hain. Lekin iss saal, be-mausam baarish aur barf ne sab gadbad kar di hai. Western Disturbances ke chalte, Punjab, Haryana, UP jaise states mein tez baarish, toofan aur ole gir rahe hain. Yeh sab Rabi crops jaise gehu, sarson, chana aur aloo ke liye bahut nuksaan-dayak hai. Agar khadi fasal par baarish aur tez hawa pade, toh woh gir jaati hai (lodging). Aur agar kati hui fasal gili ho jaaye, toh woh sad jaati hai ya usme fungus lag jaata hai. Experts ka kehna hai ki isse 10% tak fasal ka nuksaan ho sakta hai, aur pest problems bhi badh sakti hain. Jab fasal kharab hoti hai, toh seedha asar humari kitchen par padta hai – sabziyan aur anaaj mehnga ho jaata hai. Pichle saalon mein bhi aise weather ne bahut nuksaan kiya hai. Kisaano ko apni fasal bachane ke liye vigilant rehna hoga aur jaldi harvesting karni hogi. Yeh sab climate change ka hi asar hai, jo pehle helpful lagne wali baarish ko ab disaster bana raha hai.
